Tyco Announces Intention to Maintain Significant Manufacturing
Presence in Corropoli, Italy
Corropoli, Italy, February 4, 2010 – Tyco
Safety Products (TSP), a division of Tyco International Ltd. has
announced its intentions to maintain a significant manufacturing
presence in Corropoli, Italy. The announcement is based on a plan
developed by Bentel employees.
The plan enables Tyco to retain a significant manufacturing presence
in Corropoli in addition to the existing research and development
and sales and marketing functions.
“Over the past four months, our employees have worked diligently to
identify cost-savings initiatives that will enable the company to
continue providing high-quality products at competitive prices,”
said Mark VanDover, President, Electronic Security Solutions. “After
careful consideration and review, we are confident in our ability to
create a strong foundation for the future in a manner that is
positive for our employees, customers and the local community.”
VanDover added, “There is no doubt that the professionalism, hard
work and ingenuity of the team in Corropoli made this decision
possible. We are looking forward to implementing our new plan,
building our brand and exceeding the needs and expectations of our
customers.”
The Bentel Security facility in Corropoli
manufactures a full range of intrusion security and conventional and
analogue addressable fire control panels equipped with high quality
devices for fire alarm detection, alarm signaling and system
management.
Distribution of Bentel Security s.r.l. in Portugal
Based on the several claims received from our Portuguese customers
about their continuous difficulties in finding locally a complete
and full range of our products, Bentel Security s.r.l. decided to
improve the distribution network in Portugal by adding a new
temporary source.
Bentel Security s.r.l. is proud to announce that from now on Hommax
Sistemas, current distributor for Spain, is authorized to temporary
distribute Bentel products in Portugal as well.
The common values shared and the good success already had in Spain
in the first months of partnership make Bentel Security s.r.l.
confident that Hommax Sistemas will be a viable solution to
temporarily streamline the sales process in Portugal.

Bentel Security has introduced in the market the new series of keypads, PREMIUM LINE, available in both LCD and LED version, to satisfy all the market’s various request.
  
PREMIUM Line has been conceived to comply with high quality standard, precision, reliability and exclusive aesthetics for high profile installations. The 3 I/O terminals programmable on board, placed only on the backplate, the integrated key reader and level and the optional accessory BKP-BOX surface mounting kit, guarantee an extremely easy installation.
