This position is responsible in securing TYCO SAFETY PRODUCTS Fire
Detection organic growth in Italy.
It will be done by maintaining close commercial relationships with
the current distributor network in the assigned geographical area.
The position gives support to the commercial and technical
distributor teams by helping them on presentations, quotations,
visits on site and sharing his/her expertise with the commercial
person and end customer if needed.
It also gives extensive trainings to the different sales groups in
order to create a good commercial understanding on the selected
product ranges.
Key is also the creation of market awareness on the own manufactured
products. This will be done by promoting the products directly to
specifies and architects on one hand and by participating and
organising product seminars on the other hand.
The position will report to Business Development Manager, Fire EMEA
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required:
-
University degree in electronics or equivalent
-
2-3 working experience (fire)
-
Bilingual in Italian and English
-
Strong abilities: Customer focus, Business acumen and drive for
results
Specialized Skills:
-
Relevant experience as technical/sales in fire alarm systems.
-
Experience in providing high quality service to customers at a
wide range of customers.
-
Knowledge of relevant fire protection standards and market
information.
-
Demonstrate ability to systematically identify and help
customers to find a suitable solution
-
Understanding of the Building Code and a good expertise in the
fire regulations.

The
Customer Service Representative is the main contact person
for customers in an assigned territory for order entry, repairs and sales
support related functions.
The job
will be organized on part time basis.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
Verify
accuracy (part numbers, pricing, discounts etc…) for all call-in, fax or
email orders. Employee expected to take ownership of issues and work
with the department manager or other employees to resolve them in a
timely manner
-
Perform
all Order Entry related responsibilities including allocating orders,
scheduling shipments, processing returns, warranty replacements,
shipment and order status and providing export documentation to the
customer as required
-
Work
with Sales to resolve pricing discrepancies
-
Contact
customers on a scheduled basis to ensure the customers have the
information and tools to effectively perform their responsibilities
-
Analyze
incoming orders to identify opportunities for additional product sales
and offer product substitutions where applicable
-
Work as
a liaison between the customer and finance to help resolve credit issues
(as necessary)

Conduct
themselves in a professional manner and provide customers timely,
friendly, helpful information and assistance
Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required:

Post
secondary education (or work equivalent experience)

2 years
experience in an office role, preferably customer-facing

Experience
with an ERP system such as BAAN is an asset
Specialized
Skills:

Ability
to communicate clearly (written and oral) using the English and Spanish
language. Other language skills are an asset.

CODE SPM TA 07
Bentel Security s.r.l. (multinational group TYCO) is a leader
company in the product design and manufacturing of a complete range
of intrusion security and fire alarm control equipment and
accessories
Bentel
Security is keen to hire a Senior Product Manager who will have to
lead, manage and coordinate with other Functions developing
effective product strategies that will result in the planning of the
different product lines.
The
activity will be dedicated to products manufactured and operated in
the Corropoli site and to support the Intrusion products of SP SBU
for Italy and EMEA for all SBU relevant brands.
He/she will be reporting functionally to the SP SBU reference for
intrusion products, facing also the strategic demand for integration
with AC and VS product lines.
The
candidate will coordinate with the functional reference of FD SBU as
regards of fire products and will lead management in Corropoli for
Product Direction/Strategy, staff management and support the
activities of Budget, Promotion, Events, Communication.
He
will report to the Director of Product Management (Canada) and will
be Member of local Senior Leadership team.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
The
candidate will be responsible for the following activities:
-
Manages the implementation of the NPI process. This includes the
Rally Process, Phase In – Phase out process, SKU reduction,
Distributor communication process, VOC's, surveys and business
simplification activities.
-
Develops a communication plan to position and promote product to
channels and customers.
-
Active role and support of the 90-day planning activities.
-
Ensures channel readiness to support product launch;
-
Leads the Product Management activities for a number of OEM
projects.
-
Manages and coaches to ensure delivery of projects.
-
Works with Marketing Communications to develop advertising
campaigns supporting new and existing products.
-
Evaluates and reports on product market performance.
-
Performs other projects/tasks as required.
Skills,
Knowledge and Experience Required:
-
University degree and post secondary University level in
Marketing/Business or Economics Degree.
-
A minimum of 6-8 years experience in developing and executing
marketing programs/projects and 3-5 years of people management
experience.
-
Deep knowledge of the English/Italian language – both spoken and
written, with the ability to communicate in other languages.
Specialized Skills:
-
Good knowledge of the European security market and a particular
vision of the Italian combined with the ability to communicate
directly and frequently with Italian Bentel Distributors in
Italian.
-
Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to build
relationships at all levels of the organization.
-
Adaptability, flexibility and highly organized.
-
Resourcefulness and creativity are key elements to this
position. Individual needs to take the initiative and work
autonomously.
-
Experience with NPI methodologies such as Six Sigma to enhance
productivity and quality, concurrent Engineering and Integrated
Product Development.
