Job Summary

As a Quality Supervisor, you directly refer to the Plant Manager and a dotted line to our Global Quality Manager. It is your responsibility to ensure product quality and that the company's systems and processes comply with the required standards and regulatory requirements

Reporting to the Corropoli Plant Manager, the Q Supervisor will lead the Quality requirements for the organization according to the ISO9001 system developed in the company. HE/SHE will  work cooperatively with the BU Operational Q Manager. A proven Change Agent, the successful candidate will employ world-class Total Quality Six-Sigma and Lean methodologies to drive Process Improvement and Cost-Reduction.  In addition, the candidate will provide leadership and mentorship to other LSS practitioners and business associates, in order to foster the Continuous Improvement culture throughout the organization. 

Essential Job Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities as a QA Supervisor:

• Management and development of the quality department and its staff
• Maintain and develop Quality management system (QMS) Business processes and instructions.
• ISO9001 Auditor qualified preferred
• Training of management as well as production engineers and technicians in systems and quality tools such as PFMEA, 8D, 5S and other, legal requirements and other applicable requirements;
• Continues improvements, management review, Quality goals, KPI’s, Monthly review;
• Ensure Quality high performance in cooperation with our Global Quality Manager;
• Active and prepare external and internal audit and team;
• Work inter organizationally with sales, production, development, planning and warranty;

·         Quality Management, communicate with business partners, customers, Notify bodies and suppliers;

·         Lean Manufacturing experienced, preferably Green Belt Lean/SS certified or higher;

·         BE a champion of the process of implementing Total Quality principle within the Lean Manufacturing System in the Corropoli plant, according to the Johnson Control Manufacturing systems and as part of the nine basic principles;

·         Have a full and effective confidence of the Lean tools and metrics commonly used;

·         Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to identify and to execute LSS and VA/VE projects, in order to deliver significant Process Improvement and Cost Reduction to the Business.

Education and Work Experience

Your skills and background

• Experience with QA work and knowledge
• Thorough, responsible, working structured and organized
• Knowledge how to work with ISO9001:2015
• Knowledge and experience how to work and create processes and Quality demands related to, CE marking, CPR; trained in IPC electronic board assembly is preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or related fields, from an accredited College or University, with a minimum of 4 years experience in R&D or in Manufacturing, preferably Electronic Industry
• Post-graduate Degree, with 3+ years of experience preferred
• Lean experience in Operational (MFG/R&D)
• QRQC experience is welcome
• Proved implementation of improvement projects within Organization implementing across-the-board Lean Management Systems

Technical/Special Qualifications

ISO9001:2015 experience, auditor qualification preferred

Certified Green Belt and Lean Leader, with theoretical and practical expertise in all relevant Lean and Six-Sigma tools and methodologies

Proven Change Agent, with demonstrated abilities and successes in influencing and in motivating at all levels of the organization

Expert-level communication (presentation, verbal, written) skills-set

Strong analytical skills and high level of proficiency with Minitab or equivalent Statistical package

High level of proficiency with all Microsoft SW’s (Project, Excel, Visio, PP…)
