WHAT WILL YOU DO
Test Engineering collaborates with different departments from network engineers, support and operations to ensure a
plan is in motion to provide a seamless product launch.
Test Engineering is responsible for designing and implementing the testing resources (HW/FW) that ensure the quality
and the functionality of production volumes. Test Engineering is involved in all phases of the testing program, from
designing the test parameters to troubleshooting errors, analyzing results and identifying the root cause of malfunctions,
and writing up final test procedures.
The candidate will operate in a lean production environment and she/he will be active part of the manufacturing targets
like productivity, efficiency, 5s.
The position is for a temporary hire, with the possibility to transform into permanent.
How you will do it
· Test Engineering (TE) establish a framework for necessary contributions from various departments and facilitate
their collaboration
· Gather product requirements (e.g. Engineering test specs, functionalities, speed, safety standards), operating within
a structured product development flow
· Analyze current technologies used within the company and develop steps and processes to improve testing
procedures and ATEs
· Detailed understanding of how to properly document test cases and create effective and focused testing plans
· Drive the renewal of the testing resource to protect from obsolescence
· Work closely with departments within the company to ensure hardware is available for projects and working properly
· Define clear goals for all aspects of a product test and develop steps for their proper execution (First Pass Yeld, Q
data collection, guided test instructions)
 · Document technical solutions adopted;
· Inspect raw materials and machinery to identify defects and malfunctions related to the testing coverage
· Monitor all ATE development stages to ensure safety procedures are followed
· Run quality controls on final products
· Develop test environments and test cases for all mechanical and electrical systems
· Document and monitor testing outcomes and establish steps to remedy problems
· Training the quality assurance staff and providing technical support when needed.
· Ensuring all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards.
· EHS: Follow all Health & Safety and Environmental requirements that are defined on work instructions or communicated in training
 
WHAT WE LOOK FOR 
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or related field is preferred.
· Previous work experience as a Test Engineer.
· Development of testing ATE for parametric and functional test of electronic units, included the technical requisition
for suppliers of testing platforms
· High technical writing skills: TestStand, and LabVIEW. Including: Visual Basic; Visual C; C; C++
· Familiar with testing platform like SPEA, National Instrument
· Knowledge of diagramming software, including Microsoft Office / Microsoft Visio, CADCam and Electronics CAD.
· Extensive knowledge of engineering and testing procedures.
· Good problem-solving skills.
· Ability to basic project manage.
· Ability to troubleshoot and think out of the box.
